| Watch me miss this slice like a pro off his game |
Struggling to correct your golf slice during the swing can become a real problem if you don't have the basics down.
1) Hold The Golf Club Like An Egg
This tip involves treating the golf club like an egg.
By holding the golf club firmly, but like an egg, will allow the hands to properly get through the ball at impact.
This is certainly critical when it comes to closing that club face at impact and getting the ball to travel in a straight line.
So when your on the range take a whole bucket of balls and just lightly grip your club and practice rotating the hands at impact.
Swing slowly during this drill because the harder you swing the greater chance you could have at leaving the club face open.
2) Use A Stronger Grip
Many players who struggle to correct golf slice in their swing, typically use a weak grip.
By using a weak grip it doesn't allow the hands to roll over at impact, therefore the club face is open.
When you initially make contact this is a problem when it meets the ball.
By strengthening your grip will encourage a proper "release" of the hands.
